EXAM HACKS - tools to help your brain perform better under pressure - based on psychology and neuroscience. Don't miss it.
EXAM HACKS - tools to help your brain perform better under pressure - based on psychology and neuroscience. Don't miss it.
Exam time. Pressure. Emotional breakdown. Tears. Stress. Last minute fretting. Sleepless nights.
It doesn't have to be that way.
If we understand how the brains works when we are learning new things and know how it remembers and recalls things, then we can certainly help it when we are getting ready for exams and tests, so it would be better equipped to remember what we have studied - when it needs to. The moment we open the question paper and read the questions.
We will share with you what we know from psychology and neuroscience, so you can make your and your child's life easier too when it comes to preparing for exams. This is a session we have run for schools / parents / teachers in Cambridgeshire and the feedback we got was this:
"This session was incredibly helpful as through explaining how the brain works, students can take responsibility for their own learning and it takes pressure off parents and teachers at the same time. Students themselves can learn to study better using these techniques."
Date: Thursday 18th January 2018. 18.45-20.30
Location: Venue TBC - Hambleden Hall RG9 6RP - located between Marlow and Henley on Thames
